GlobeStar Systems, is a multinational communications company that develops and sells communications integration software, which monitors, captures and manages alarms from various and different systems.〔(RTP Portugal/Açores (Portuguese) )〕 Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, GlobeStar Systems, along with (Tel-e Technologies ), (Tel-e Connect Systems Ltd. ) and (Canada Pure ) belongs to the Tel-e Group. ==History== GlobeStar System’s latest release (2014) is Connexall 6.0, an event notification management solution scaled to meet the needs of large healthcare organizations. Connexall solutions are designed to improve patient care and safety while allowing organizations to better leverage existing technologies (). GlobeStar Systems was founded by David Tavares in 1992. The name “GlobeStar” was originated from the company’s intent to be a Global company and that GlobeStar sold NorStar equipment.〔Journal "O Milénio" (2006) (Portuguese)〕 At that time, GlobeStar Systems’s main unique advantage over its competitors was the invention of the application GolfStar that allowed the use of Tee off (booking by phone) in golf camps possible. The name “Connexall” was derived from its purpose of connecting all the systems.
